Monthly Progress Reports/Evaluations

Monthly Progress reports are due on the 1st of each month, with a grace period of ten days. For each day after the tenth of the month that your Evaluation is late, you will be charged $10 dollars (i.e. if turned in on the 13th = you owe $30). Evaluations will not be accepted without payment.

Q: What if I'm not currently working, do I still need to turn in my Monthly Progress Report?

A: Yes, you are required to turn in your Monthly Progress Report by the 10th of the month whether you are currently working or not. All rules/late fees apply.

Waterfront Credit Union

Q: Do I have to enroll at Waterfront Credit Union?

A: The transition is scheduled to be effective with your December 2008 Vacation Fund monies being sent directly to the Waterfront Federal Credit Union January 2009. Please note that opening an account is not an option. You MUST open an account with WFCU in order to have access to your vacation funds. Also, if you currently have an automatic draft set up for your union dues at Bank of America, you must see the business office before January 1st, 2009 to have it switched over to the Credit Union. Employee Assistance Program

Q: What is the EAP?

A: The First Choice Health Employee Assistance Program is a confidential resource away from work environment. Employees and their immediate family members can use the EAP anytime they are experiencing working, personal, emotional, family problems. Through the EAP, people can receive several no-cost, solution-focused appointments with a counseling professional. Using Right Referral, First Time technology the EAP will connect you or your loved one to a provider who can, as necessary, continue to deliver services (beyond the EAP) through your health insurance or managed care plan. Make-Up Day

Q: Will I receive notification if I need to come to the Make-Up Day?

A: No. If you missed a class and you have not made it up or it has not been excused, you must come to make-up day. If you are unsure of whether you have been excused from a missed class, you may check at the apprenticeship office.

Q: How often is a Make-Up Day Scheduled?

A: There is one Make-Up Day scheduled for every quarter - it falls on the last Friday before the new quarter begins.
